The Beacon-Hopewell Rail Trail Study is being guided by an Advisory Committee with representatives from Dutchess County, New York State Department of Transportation, Metro-North/MTA, City of Beacon, Village of Fishkill, Town of Fishkill, Town of East Fishkill, and the Hudson Highlands Fjord Trail.  

The study will be developed collaboratively with elected officials, local boards, key agencies, community organizations, and potential rail trail users, like you!

There will be both virtual and in-person opportunities for you to provide input to guide the planning process. This includes pop-ups at local events, virtual public meetings, online activities, and public presentations.
